Broussard: Data Recovery

broussard_data_recovery

I’m pretty sure that everybody (myself included) was hoping to see some Broussard footage in the D.I.T.C.H. edit we just put out. Unfortunately, Nate thought we said we were “ditching the video,” so he didn’t film anything for it. We’ll take partial responsibility for the miscommunication.

To tide you over until we get some new Broussard footage, please take a minute to watch these clips of Nate from 2007—back in the Bueno days. Thanks, Roger Bagley!

Have a weekend.

    D.I.T.C.H.

    Dear Friends,
We spent five years and fifty-thousand dollars filming this monumental video. Seventeen different countries were visited and Bill Pierce nearly died from malaria. Twice. It was all worth it though.
We present to you, Diving Into The Concrete Horizon: a skateboard video that’s so good you’ll probably either quit skateboarding or start skateboarding again.

      Wall Crawl

I found this photo of Bill on the SLAP site. Gapper to slant rider circa 2010.

How many skate companies can say that one of their riders has a write up on a French Eames blog?

Stop by tomorrow and I’ll show you our new video edit. It’ll make you poop your buddy’s pants.

        For Whom The Bill Tolls

Wild Bill with a cemetery ollie from his extended stay in Austin, TX. Thanks, Shiny Muffuletta!

We’re literally within days of our next skate action power edit. Chips will be hitting the fan. Or not. Hard to say. Y’all kids be fickle.

Okay, more updates this week. We promise. Even if it’s just a photo of my new shoes.

          Nasal Drainage

I found this photo of Max on Muffin’s site. I wish somebody would notify me when there are awesome photos of our dudes out there on the http://www. Help a stepbrother out here. (I’m talking to you, Muffins.)

We’re almost done with our new little video offering. We’d apologize for not churning out weekly videos, but that’s like apologizing for not serving somebody trash for dinner.

Wanna read an interview with one of our favorite skateboard company owners? No? Well do it anyway, jerk.

And I’m sure you’ve already seen this, but just in case you haven’t and you want to learn how to do a sissy pop. Click click.

          Type to you soon, Doods.

            Sharing is Caring

Sorry for the radio silence as of late. I have a good excuse if it matters. We’re working on some new radness that will hopefully make up for our recent chilled-out presence. Stay tuned and we’ll freak some buns really soon. Hope y’all (still) like banked ‘crete.

We’re also experimenting with new graphic applications—transparent bases and halftones vs. vectors. We’re trying to push the envelope with future lines because we heard graphics were coming back. Death to the logo board?

Apparently less fashion doesn’t include rap gloves?

Also, if you weren’t stoked watching this, then please stop buying Roger stuff. Just kidding! I know you’ve never actually bought a Roger product. I’m a realist.

            Have a good weekend, y’all.

Oh yeah, and thanks to Chubby Muttons for shooting that MFB photo up there.

              6 New 7 Plys

Well, we finally did it. We finally managed to get our collective crap together long enough to design and manufacture six new skateboard decks. You can view them directly above these words. Skate or Fry is a graphic concept that has been in my sketchbook for about four years. Finally inked that dude on paper. R.I.P. is pretty self-explanatory. We gave up on caring about all the bullshit a long time ago. Like A Boss? Not us. 2 Birds needs no explanation either. It’s just a word-play joke. And the Nate’s needed some new graphics so I drew some weird dudes sitting in chairs. Pretty deep, huh?

Okay, go enjoy your weekend. Tell your friends Roger loves them. Except your friend Greg. That dude smells weird.

                Roger’s Boutique

Four (of five) new t-shirts that are now available from the fine folks at Roger Brand Skateboard Company Inc. We also reprinted the Curb Cuts graphic on a nice sweatshirt grey colored short sleeve shirt. Nice and light for Summer. As always, go tell the dipshit working behind the counter of your local skateshop to pretend like they know what’s up and have them order some Roger crud. We’re not doing this for our health.

Just kidding. We’re totally doing Roger for our health. Roger lowers cholesterol. And gives old dudes boners.

                  News Hit

I grabbed this photo off of our distributor’s Instagram feed. Looks like our snapback painter’s caps are in stock. They come with a top-print and a little Roger button to boot. Bug your local shop to buy some for their discount rack.

We also have some new t-shirts that I’ll show you tomorrow and 6 new boards that I’ll show you on Friday. Don’t wanna freak y’all out with too much rad shit all at once.
